About Hego - What is Hego?

Hego has been active in the wholesale trade of stainless steel and aluminium since 1978. The family business was based in Muiden until 1992. In 1992 it moved to Almere. The head office in Almere currently employs 30 to 40 members of staff. The surface area of the warehouse and the office building covers approximately 10,000 m2.

Our wide range of products finds its way onto both the Dutch market and the export market to, among others, the Far and Middle East, South America and Africa.

Hego has branches in the Netherlands (Almere), Belgium (Geel), Germany (Ratingen) and Portugal (Porto and Lisbon). Our range consists of sheets / plates, coils, round / flat bars, profiles and round / square tubes. We supply first or second choice material in standard or non-standard measurements, with or without certificate, customised to customer preference. The supplied materials can be processed if desired, for example: grinded, brushed, plated, cut, sliced, decoiled, slitted, set and stretched. This work chiefly takes place internally.

The combination of our supplier contacts, logistics apparatus and our central location in Almere guarantee the 'just in time’ delivery of the desired material.
