Everyone is familiar with stainless steel. It is attractive, corrosion proof, wear-resistant, machinable, durable and not to mention, recyclable. Stainless steel is used in many different industries. Examples are the kitchen industry, car industry, agrarian sector, chemical and offshore industries, construction, food industry, tanking industry or shipbuilding industry. Did you know that on average 35 kilos of stainless steel is incorporated in a car? Or that on average 6 kilograms is used per inhabitant on an annual basis in the Netherlands?

In addition to its prime material  range, Hego has a wide range of 2nd choice material available. This material is often available in standard and non-standard sizes and may contain slight edge and surface damage. The chemical and mechanical composition of the material is in accordance with DIN, AISI or substance number requirements.
